About the Deanship
The University President’s Decision No. 452000343 was issued on 4/8/1445 AH, merging the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning with the Deanship of Library Affairs into one deanship, called “Deanship of E-Learning and Knowledge Resources,” It is affiliated with the university's Academic Affairs Agency, and its agencies are: E-Learning Deanship Agency, Knowledge Resources Deanship Agency, and Deanship Agency (Women's Section).
Thus, the deanship becomes one of the supporting deanships that provide all forms of support to colleges, which include employing modern technologies in education and providing knowledge resources. This contributes to increasing the effectiveness of education and maintaining its impact on students. It also involves developing scientific research through traditional and digital libraries containing various scientific sources in all humanities, scientific, and health specializations.
The deanship also plays an important role in institutional and programmatic accreditation through the learning resources standard. It seeks to keep pace with modern trends in e-learning and knowledge resources to provide an educational and research environment for students and faculty members in collaboration with university colleges, deanships, and administrations.
